My friend Israel's band is performing here again August 5th, at the Murray Theater. They have recently been touring with the Decemberists, and just returned from a European tour where they did some shows supporting Counting Crows as well. Here in SLC they'll be supporting the band Gomez, about whom I know nothing. But come with us, just for Blind Pilot. The kids are thrilled to be hosting "the rock stars" (as they call them) again. This video was filmed at an old cannery bldg that has hung on for dear life through many storms in Astoria, Oregon.

I LOVE the Counting Crows they are one of my favorites! That's so cool that they worked with them. Good times.
