Blessings
I have felt so blessed the past couple weeks. First, my Moms: I hesitated to tell them about my knee surgery, because I didn't think it would be that big a deal, and I knew they would both drop things to come and help. I am so glad they didn't listen to me: recovery was more difficult than I anticipated, and they both came separately for a week to help out with the kids and house.
So Moms, thank you for helping me laugh when Frodo pooped in the house. Thank you for reading to my kids and spoiling them with treats I don't usually give them. Thank you for reminding me to sit down and ice my knee. Thanks for the long talks. You are wonderful; I am so lucky.
Thank you to all you sweet friends who called to check up on me, who brought me food and ice cream (you know me so well!!) and who had my kids over when they were bored with their incapacitated mother who couldn't jump on the tramp.
I am feeling so much better and can walk pretty well now, and I know it's because I had the support so that I could recuperate properly. I am so richly blessed, and I am so grateful.

Moms are so great! I am so glad that you are starting to feel better. We should get together some time this week and play.
You reap what you sow! Now, don't get too confident with your abilities and remember to take care of yourself and that knee!
