Out of the Mouths of Babes...

Kids are so funny. Yesterday we had family photos taken, and on the way Eliza was complaining because she wanted to be delivering one of her drawings to a friend instead. Finally Ash asked her to please say something positive. She quipped, "I'm positive that I need to take my picture to Bailey!" Clever girl. :)
Then during Family Home Evening we were talking about all the blessings that come from obedience to the commandments. I asked Micah at the beginning why it is important to be obedient. He said, "So you can get a treat." After our re-enactment of Jonah and the Whale (complete with our massive Shamu stuffed animal) and when we parents were feeling pretty great about how the lesson had gone, I asked Micah again why it's so important to be obedient and he said, "So you don't get eaten." I just love those guys.
