The kids' toilet lid and seat finally broke apart (too many times of trying to shut it over the training seat). So I went to Home Depot, bought the replacement seat, lid, little parts, and set about replacing it. It took me half an hour and I was sweaty and annoyed when I was done. Ash replaced our bathroom's lid/seat a few months ago and it took him about 5 minutes. A belated THANKS, honey! You are the only handy one in this house.

You handy woman, you....
Too funny! I'll call you, our will probably need that soon. Maybe you can break your current time record with ours. :)
I hate it when our men make something look so easy and it ends up taking us twice as long. I guess it's a good thing we have them around.
Nah! We are staying out here, but I guess Ward might be going home for thanksgiving. Who knows!
A couple of months ago I had the idea to get handy and help Aaron by changing our license plates. By the time I was "done", we were taking the car in to the shop to fix the mess I had made of the screws. Apparently, it is not that hard to break a screw off in a hole. And wouldn't you know getting those screws out is not a DIY project. Oh well. I tried.
Wish we could hang with you guys during the holidays. When are we ever going to get our acts together and get jobs in the same city?
I am SO impressed that you did this yourself. I would have waited and waited for Jared to do it. Amazing.
