Micah is 3

Micah's birthday was August 24th. I usually do breakfast in bed for whoever has a birthday, but we were late getting up and ready for church, so I just brought him a mug of cocoa with about 5 inches of whipped cream on top. As you can see, he was unhappy at being woken up early, cried, and didn't drink it. Hmmm, maybe I should respond by crying when he comes into my room every night in the middle of the night.

So Sarah had his cocoa.

His birthday was on Sunday, and we had laid-back brownies and ice cream. As usual, Micah has no pants on.

Micah is my little tender-hearted one. He's so sweet with Sarah and is quick to share his treats with Eliza. If anyone is ever down, he's great at cheering people up, usually with, "That's okay, we can do it tomorrow" regardless of what the problem is. His middle name is Rex, and when he's upset with me, he says, "Mommy Rex!" Hmmmm, I must do that to him a lot. He can't wait to get bigger like his sister, so we got him a little two-wheeler and he feels pretty cool. Happy b-day, buddy.

What was I thinking? 13 friends plus a few cute siblings. It was mayhem.
