Children's Parade

Our kids got to participate in a church parade downtown the weekend of Ash's birthday. They waved little suns and had popsicles afterwards and it was fun. Micah got tired partway through and Ash wasn't with us, so I was lucky DJ offered to carry him. He wasn't such a fan of the parade, but the blow up slides afterwards were a big hit.

Micah was mad at us and tried to open the van door while we were driving around. Then he says, "That's what you get for messing with me."

Elizaisms

Eliza hates getting her blood drawn at the immunologist office. She said, "Dr. Taylor was probably himself for Halloween."
(About Ash's bald spot): "Dad, you should spray paint that thing."
(Talking to her friend about a late-night playdate)--"You can bring anything you want, except alcohol and cigarettes."
(After a long winding road, with me beside the car leaning into the bushes)--"Mom, do you need to puke? Because it would be really bad for the animals if you puked."
"Mom, I think you'll die before me--unless I get run over by a car."
"Sometimes I wish I had a boyfriend to clean up my breakfast dishes."
